Scripture Anchor
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6, NIV)
The Parenting Challenge
In today’s fast-paced world, parenting can often feel overwhelming. With so many influences vying for our children’s attention, it can be difficult to instill a strong foundation of faith. As parents, we are called to guide our children not just in academic and social skills, but also in their spiritual journey. This challenge requires intentionality and a commitment to prioritize our faith in every aspect of our family life.
Jesus Centred Perspective
At the heart of faith-centered parenting is the understanding that our children are a gift from God. As we nurture their physical and emotional needs, we must also cultivate their spiritual growth. By modeling a Christ-like life, we teach our children the importance of love, grace, and forgiveness. This perspective allows us to view parenting not merely as a duty but as a divine calling to reflect Jesus in our homes.
Moreover, a Jesus-centered approach encourages us to lean on His strength and wisdom. When we face challenges, we can turn to prayer and scripture for guidance. By creating an environment where Jesus is at the center, we help our children develop a personal relationship with Him, equipping them to navigate life’s trials with faith and confidence.

A Prayer for Parents
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of our children. Help us to be wise and loving parents who guide them in Your ways. Grant us patience and strength as we face the challenges of parenting. May our homes be filled with Your love and peace, and may our children grow to know and love You deeply. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen.
